Privacy notice
Last updated: 20 October 2026. This notice covers the Doorstory offer page and requests for a pack sent to us by email.
Who we are
Doorstory is a trading name of Brilly Group Limited (company number 14176606, address 703 Stockport Road, Levenshulme, Manchester, England, M12 4QN), run by Kit. Brilly Group Limited is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: [email protected].
What we collect
- Your email: requests reach us only by email to [email protected]. We receive your sender address, the agency name and listing link you send, the time of the email, and anything else you choose to include. Photo rights are confirmed by email before any work starts, and we keep that reply with your request.
- Technical logs: the web server that hosts this page may keep a standard access log of each page request: IP address, time, page requested and response code. It is not used for tracking.
We use no cookies, no analytics and no third-party trackers, and the page loads no third-party fonts or scripts.
Why we use it and our lawful basis
- To reply to your request and prepare your pack: steps at your request before entering into a contract (UK GDPR Art 6(1)(b)), and our legitimate interests in answering business enquiries (Art 6(1)(f)).
- To keep the service secure and stop spam (logs): legitimate interests (Art 6(1)(f)).
We do not send marketing emails. We use your email address only to reply to your request.
Where it is stored and who processes it
Requests are kept in the mailbox for [email protected], provided by Microsoft 365 Business, from Microsoft. No payment provider is used yet. Your emails and files are stored in the UK. Our providers, including Microsoft, may access them from outside the UK, for example for support, under contractual safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum. This page is hosted by Cloudflare (Cloudflare Pages), which processes your IP address and request details to deliver the page. If we start using Stripe for card payments, this notice will be updated, with its details and any international transfer safeguards, before that happens.
How long we keep it
We keep contact-request emails and uploaded files for 30 days, then delete them. We email you a reminder 7 days and 1 day before your files are deleted, so you can download anything you need. We keep finished packs for 90 days after delivery, then delete them, with the same reminders 7 days and 1 day before.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, or ask us to correct it, erase it, restrict its use or object to it, and in some cases ask for a copy to move elsewhere. Email [email protected]. We will reply within one month. See ICO: your data matters.
Complaints
